Lights of the Ozarks 2019

Enjoy the amazing winter wonderland of lights on the Downtown Square beginning Friday, November 22ndat 6 p.m. with the lighting night parade.

The lights illuminate the square each evening from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m. and remain on through January 1, 2020. Nightly holiday activities, hot chocolate, and festive music make the Lights of the Ozarks an event that cannot be missed.

Each year Fayetteville Parks and Recreation workers spend over 3,300 hours decorating the Downtown Square with over 400,000 lights. Holiday activities on the Historic Downtown Square will be going on through December 31, weather permitting.

Pony and Carriage Rides

Pony rides and carriages rides begin on Saturday, November 23 at 5 p.m. -

Pony Rides: $6 per person

Carriage Rides: $25 for the first two people and it's $10 for each additional adult and $5 for each additional child. Private carriage rides are available for $40. 

Santa Claus

Santa Claus will be available for pictures on parade night Friday, November 22 from 4 - 6 p.m. and

7 -10 p.m. in the Fayetteville Town Center. Keepsake photographs are available for $10 and $5 for each additional print.

Santa Claus will also be available during the following dates at the Fayetteville Town Center:

December 1 from 6-9 p.m.

December 5-8 from 6-9 p.m.

December 12-15 from 6-9 p.m.

December 19-23 from 6 - 9 p.m.

Parade

The Lights of the Ozarks parade will weave through downtown Fayetteville at 6 p.m. on the evening of Friday, November 22nd. At 6:00 p.m., Mayor Lioneld Jordan will flip the switch to turn on all the magical lights and will lead the Lighting Night Parade though the square and downtown.
