A study at the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland compared the personalities of stock traders and hospitalized psychopaths using simulations and intelligence tests. The researchers found the behavior of the professional traders “more reckless and manipulative than that of the psychopaths.”

What judge wouldn’t sympathize with this guy’s plight? Jose Martinez was just exiting the tunnel in Disneyland’s “It’s a Small World” when the ride shut down. Staff evacuated all the riders except for Martinez, who is paraplegic and needed a wheelchair. Martinez was trapped in the ride for half an hour. “The music was still blaring,” said his attorney. “They couldn’t get it to go off.” A California court awarded Martinez $8,000 in damages.
